There is a misconception that those in the healing profession, be it medicine, psychology, theology or coaching, are super-human. These assumptions place people on pedestals which often results in unrealistic expectations thereby creating a sense of them and us. A distance and separation that is counter to facilitating healing and wholeness.
What creates the most impact when working with people in the art of personal transformation is relatability, compassion and autenticity.
